For Instance:
Like many peoples who gave it their all, as we did for 21 years during the first and last great war of National Liberation 1400 - 1421, we end up getting such a beating we would rather forget about ever fighting back again. Having spent some time in Belleville, Paris a major working class area at one time and 'Hold Out' during the 1871 Commune, the last barricade held there by just one revolutionary, who fires of his last bullet and walks away disappearing into the fog of historical memory. in medieval times that would be the 'Mist of Myth'. On visiting Belleville, given it's history it is Edith Piaf it would rather remember than 1871 Revolution that ends in terrible massacre at Pere Lachise Cemetary close by, see:

BELLEVILLE AND THE PARIS COMMUNE 1871 INFORMATION and NEWS OF 2012 COMMEMORATION - So You Can Think About Going ...2011 was the 140th Anniversary of the Paris Commune and whilst the politicals of the left made much of this, what about the people of Belleville? I have no way of knowing a proper answer to that but if you walk around Belleville you will see very little history of the Paris Comune displayed in public (my Brother says, they need a Weatherspoons Pub). If you then read more of the post 1871 Commune History you become informed that for years after Belleville was mostly populated by old ladies. the young ones and the men had got out no doubt due to repression and fear of Imprisonment, being exiled or even exection. Remember many communards were sent into exile in New Caledonia whilst for most part initially relations with Native Kanaks was good, later the ugly head of 'Racism' would arise and many Communards sided with the authourities against the Natives seeking Independence'. Although there were acceptions which I will possibly do a feature on in another blog of mine. possibly Pitchfork and Pike.

So, the point is that the medieval Welsh gave it their best shot and lost but the losing was not due to lack of courage as the Outlaw Resistance would remain for some years as I wish it would today, not violently just be more radically active, be bloody OUTLAW REBELS and not so bloody passive:

It's not always been so the Welsh from the late Tudor Period into the 1930's were radical and revolutionary as for example. Remember this year marks anniversary of the 'Great Unrest' that began in 1910 and continued into 1911 and 1912. Lets not forget either the revolutionary year of 1925 and 1926.

Give me 'Trech Gwlad Nag Arglwydd' any time, forget this poetry stuff the Welsh have too much of it if you ask me. Interesting and true upon Mynydd Bach in Ceredigion famouse for Rhyfel Y Sais Bach 1826 there is a memorial for three Poets but none for Jac y Gof and those others who fought for their 'Land and Liberty'.
Which leads to this some 400 odd years later:
